I cook four hot honey chicken bowls at once to have time for other recipes to serve with dinner or at the same meal․ I cook the chicken with a cornstarch coating and hot honey sauce․ I keep the chicken pieces apart until ready to serve․

Pat your chicken dry before coating it with cornstarch․ Use a large pan or wok with lots of room for the chicken to cook․ Chicken will not brown when too many pieces are cooked close together because the chicken will steam instead․ A tip for cooking many pieces of chicken at once: Lay cooked chicken on a wire rack to create space for more chicken․ Cook chicken for 3-4 minutes on each side‚ or until browned․
I boil the sauce for 30 seconds to make it a little thicker․ I add chopped chicken to a serving bowl and top with sauce․ Some of the sauce clings to the chicken․ Honey and sriracha provide sweet and spicy flavors to the sauce․ Soy sauce and rice vinegar prevent the sauce from tasting flat․
Use your largest skillet and cook the chicken in batches if you don't have enough space in your skillet for the chicken pieces to be separated․ I recommend serving jasmine rice with this recipe‚ though brown rice or other whole grains and even cauliflower rice also work well․
